Hiii, my name is Lulu! I'm from Chengdu, China. I spent my early childhood years growing up on a farm, and it was there that I started discovering and cultivating my imagination. I'd play with the fireflies in the big fields next to the train tracks and spend hours singing along and talking in mystical foreign languages I invented.

Watching cartoons like Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf and Journey to the West, I truly believed those characters were living in real time somewhere out there. But when I learned from my mother that it wasn’t reality but fiction, it didn't disappoint me—it made me more curious. I wanted to be able to create life, to create new worlds for me and other people to live in.

It was that curiosity that led me to pursue acting once I came to America, where I found not just a passion, but also a way to build confidence in my voice, now in English.

And I'm still chasing that same spark to this day. I trained at NYU Tisch, in the Atlantic Theater School program, where I learned how to deepen my exploration of complex characters and how to honor and bring life to their worlds.

Outside of acting, I’m always creating: graphic design, photography, and constantly finding new ways to express myself.
